The desktop version has an integrated database and resides on a single computer.

The client-server version consists of two programs. One that resides on multiple client machines and another, the server program, which is installed on a single network server. The server program keeps the database open so that multiple ProprioSoft client programs can connect to it from other computers. There is a single fee for the client-server version. An unlimited number of ProprioSoft clients may be installed to various computers and connect to a single central database maintained by the server program.
